Insight Tree Imaging LLC is a tree imaging and root mapping company in the San Francisco South Bay area of California.  Our level 3 trunk inspections collectively involve the use of three different types of the latest technology—ground-penetrating radar (TreeRadar), sonic tomography, and minimally invasive resistograph drilling.  By utilizing all three technologies, guesswork is removed from the equation and our ISA certified arborist and tree risk assessor can better understand what is truly happening inside a tree and its root system.  Think of it as an MRI for a tree.  We employ ground-penetrating radar to determine root density and depth, which are key to a tree's stability.  Ground penetrating radar can also assist in isolating structural damage due to invasive roots or to evaluate the impact of future work sites on tree roots.
